CONDUCTING RESEARCH IN ENVIRONMENTAL ECONOMICS, SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE, AND WATER RESOURCES MANAGEMENT TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE ADVANCEMENT OF KNOWLEDGE
Lakes are vital components of the Earth's hydrological cycle and are susceptible to the impacts of climate change. Understanding the changes in terms of minimum and maximum lake surface temperatures is crucial for assessing the effects of climate change on freshwater ecosystems..
Water temperature in lakes is their basic property that determines many processes. Changes in average values are thoroughly investigated using a long-term approach. Knowledge of extreme situations such as temperature minimums is still insufficient. This paper analyses changes in the minimum temperature in 10 lakes in Poland in the period 1972–2021.
This study was carried out in Ekiti State Nigeria to examine the savings avenue of women cassava processors; determine factors affecting their propensity to save and analyze the determinants of savings. Information was gathered from a total of 180 women cassava processors through a well-structured questionnaire. A multi-stage random sampling procedure was adopted in the selection of respondents. The analytical tools employed were descriptive statistics, Friedman ranking analysis, multiple regressions, and Pearson correlation analysis.

Serious environmental concerns such as pollution, desertification, erosion, drought, and flooding, etc., has been linked to deforestation and industrial activities.
